At Exodus Health, our initial process includes a phone screening to ensure that you are an appropriate client. We look at past quitting attempts, psychiatric problems or health problems associated with the addiction, and information pertaining to family support and any legal issues. We also gauge your level of motivation for recovery. Clients are then scheduled for a face-to-face evaluation and necessary blood tests. We give referrals for a Physical examination or you are welcome to bring a recent one from your Primary care Physician. Your first visit is a detailed assessment, including a drug history, psychiatric evaluation, and on site drug testing. We also review alternatives, side effects, and risks, as well as encourage patients to attend individual and or group counseling. There are also scheduled meetings for family members.

We use an optional 12-step Bible-based, Christ centered program to restore your sense of balance. This allows you to regain a feeling of purpose and reconnect with your creator. We believe in an approach that addresses physical, emotional, spiritual and social wellbeing. We do not believe any of these dimensions are mutually exclusive.

We believe in using evidence based treatments, appropriate medication management, screenings for co-occurring disorders and individualized multidimensional treatment planning using highly skilled staff. We also offer traditional Recovery groups to help maintain abstinence and relapse prevention.

Suboxone® is a medication that has revolutionized outpatient office based treatment. It does not require daily office visits and can be taken on an outpatient basis. Once maintained, visits can be as infrequent as once a month in the final phases of treatment. It is used to treat addiction to prescription opiates such as Oxycodone or Percocet as well as street opiates such as Heroin. It offers a relatively pain free, confidential, in-office alternative to costly detoxification treatment.
